Gonzales ISF
The 2nd 25th Judicial District Intermediate Sanction Facility currently has beds available for IMMEDIATE placement. If you are interested in placing a male offender, please reach out! Our placement is a minimum of 180 days. During placement, residents will complete an array of classes included but not limited to anger management, relapse prevention, life skills, Moral Reconation Therapy, and untangling relationships. We are now offering the Drug Offender Education Program, Driving While Intoxicated Education Program, and the Driving While Intoxicated Intervention Program to those needing same. Additionally, residents are able to participate in our vocational program where they can not only gain a NCCER certification through CORE but, go a step further and earn a Level I craft in HVAC, Welding, Electrical, or Plumbing. Our ISF is the only one in Texas that offers this opportunity, and it is FREE! Lastly, our work program has now been up and running for over a year now. This program helps offenders get back on track with their delinquent fees. Prior to being discharged, we establish contact with the sending county to determine what funds need to be applied to their arrears. Because of our work program, over the course of the last year, we have been able to send back funds in excess of $250k to the sending counties! If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to reach out. As always, we appreciate you, your department, and the referrals.
